PPGI DC01

DC01 Galvanized steel  coil is used for automobiles, sanitary ware, food machinery, pressure vessels, nuclear power, chemical equipment, elevators, rail transit, machinery manufacturing, structural piping, and architectural decoration.

PPGI is galvanized color plate, PPGL is galvanized color plate, both are color plates, the substrates are different, one is galvanized structure, the other is galvanized structure, the substrate is different, which determines the difference in performance.

Advantages: It not only has the mechanical strength and easy forming properties of steel plates, but also has good decorative properties and corrosion resistance of organic materials. The coating has strong adhesion and can keep the color fresh for a long time. Hot-dip galvanized PPGI steel

Hot-dip galvanized steel sheets are mainly used as the base material. Due to the protection of zinc layer and organic coating, its service life is longer than that of hot-dip galvanized sheets. Available zinc layer is 275 g/m².

Electro-galvanized PPGI steel

Electro-galvanized sheet is used as the base material. Since the zinc layer of electro-galvanized sheets is thin, usually 20g/㎡, its corrosion resistance is not as good as that of hot-dip galvanized sheets. This product is therefore not suitable for outdoor walls and roofs. But it has beautiful appearance and excellent processing performance, and is mainly used in home appliances, steel furniture, interior decoration, etc.

Surface treatment
Lamination
This process is to apply a transparent organic film (30-50㎛) on the steel coil at high temperature. It has some unique properties such as fire resistance, fingerprint resistance, excellent durability, stain resistance, etc. Obviously, this treatment method can protect the steel coil well during storage and transportation.
Embossed
Embossed PPGI steel coils are designed with different patterns. Popular patterns are stucco, diamond, etc. And it's customizable. Compared with smooth steel coils, it has a vivid 3D effect.

Coating type

In coil steel coatings, resins and pigments play a role in durability. The most commonly used topcoats include polyester, silicon-modified polyester, high-durability polyester and polyvinylidene fluoride.
Polyester PE
Good adhesion, rich colors, broad range in formability and outdoor durability, moderate chemical resistance, low cost.
Silicone modified polyester SMP
The coating film has good hardness, abrasion resistance and heat resistance; as well as good external durability, chalking resistance, gloss retention, average flexibility and medium cost.
High durability polyester HDP
Excellent color retention and UV resistance, excellent outdoor durability and chalking resistance, good paint film adhesion, rich colors, and excellent cost performance.
Polyvinylidene fluoride PVDF
Excellent color retention and UV resistance, excellent outdoor durability and chalking resistance, excellent solvent resistance, good formability, stain resistance, limited colors, high cost.
